Item of the Month!

Here are The Lighthouse we LOVE Operation Christmas Child all year long! We're going to do something different this year to keep everyone thinking about shoeboxes, shoeboxes, shoeboxes.... Here's a way to send more smiles - An item of the month. Beginning in March we are going to have an item of the month. Check our blog at the beginning of each month to see what the suggested items are for that month. Bring them to The Lighthouse and drop them in the collection box. When November rolls around we'll have lots of items to make lots of boxes! We're even going to have a Packing Party to assemble the shoebox gifts. Remember simpler boxes mean more boxes and more boxes mean more Gospel Opportunities!

Scrapbook Classes

Dear Bloggers,
Do any of you want to learn about scrap booking? The Lighthouse will be offering classes for beginners in February and March. Please contact us (761-9658) and let us know what time of day and which days of the week work for you. The class size is limited, so call soon. The starting date will be announced once we have more information from you about your preferences. There will be a small charge for materials (approx. $5) and you will be able to complete 1 or 2 pages in each class. Just bring your favorite photos and have some fun! It is a great way to spend a snowy winter day!! We have 2 veteran scrap bookers lined up to help you get started. They both have teaching backgrounds and love to scrapbook themselves, so get ready to learn and have fellowship with others who are learning too.
