With the help and support of many fine folks, the Lighthouse packed and sent 5 large boxes to area soldiers serving in Afganistan.
Included in the boxes were 75 individual gift "bags" made of bright fabric and filled with candy, batteries, cereal bars, beef jerky, powder, crossword puzzle books, and powdered drinks. Other larger items were also sent, as well as letters and pictures from area children. It truly was a community outreach
